Two fabulous pups Bertie and Patrick and beautiful Victorian home with gardens and dingle located in Shropshire UK

The home is wIthin the Shropshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in close proximity to the Wroxeter roman ruins and the World Heritage site of Ironbridge.

The owners are away for three weeks on a trip to Australia

This gracious character home is steeped and surrounded by history and the most amazing grounds in which to spend time playing with Patrick and Bertie. Indeed a lovely experience and a pleasure to caretake in this elegant property for my wonderfully generous hosts and these two adorable pups.

Patrick, an elderly Patterdale comes with a mountain of wisdom, experience and tenacity and is a perfect balance for his recently new friend and addition to the family, Bertie, the Cockerpoo who comes with all of the enthusiasm, energy and untiring mishieveous habits that come with this people loving breed.

It was indeed a great pleasure to investigate Bertie’s adaptability and selective memory. It was an opportunity to continue some obedience training with Bertie and I was delighted to report that my endeavours were somewhat successful and with a gergeous pup who just loves to please.

Anthony is a charming, thoughtful man who looked after our house and dogs for over three weeks.
The dogs obviously loved his company and we were very comfortable leaving them with him despite only meeting the evening before.
He kept us up to date throughout our holiday with incredible photos and even videos of their exploits - which as one is a rather over exuberant Cockapoo pup and the other a rather curmudgeonly elderly patterdale were interesting to say the least.
We felt quite sorry for Anthony at times!
We returned home to lovely flowers and fruit - testament to his thoughtfulness and to two happy and healthy dogs.
